The Indianapolis Colts will host the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 8. The game time is set for 1:00 p.m. EST at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The contest will mark the 21st all-time meeting between the teams in the regular season, with the Colts holding a 12-8 advantage. The game will feature a re-match of the 2013 AFC Wild Card game on Jan. 4, 2014 which Indianapolis won, 45-44.
Last week, the Colts traveled to Tennessee to face the Titans and won, 34-26.
Tennessee put a touchdown on the board on the game's opening series to take a 6-0 advantage. Indianapolis countered with 17 unanswered points that included quaterback Andrew Luck completing touchdown passes to running back Frank Gore and wide receiver T.Y. Hilton as well as a fi eld goal by kicker Adam Vinatieri.
After possessing a 17-13 lead at halftime, Vinatieri converted a 33-yard field goal early in the third quarter to increase the Colts lead. The made field goal was Vinatieri's 43rd consecutive which set a new NFL record.
The Titans took the lead in the fourth quarter, 27-23, before Luck led the Colts on his 17th career game-winning drive in the fourth quarter or overtime by completing a touchdown pass to tight end Jack Doyle.
On the ensuing drive, defensive tackle T.Y. McGill strip-sacked Tennessee quarterback Marcus Mariota and outside linebacker Robert Mathis returned the ball 14 yards to preserve Indianapolis' third victory of the season.
