The Indianapolis Colts will travel to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers for their final road trip of the 2017 preseason. The game time is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Aug. 26 at Heinz Field.
The contest will mark the 22nd all-time preseason meeting between the teams, with the Colts holding an 11-10 advantage. In their last preseason matchup, Indianapolis fell to Pittsburgh, 26-24, on Aug. 19, 2012.
Last week, the Colts traveled to Dallas and were defeated by the Cowboys, 24-19.
Dallas scored on the opening possession of the game to take an early 7-0 lead. On the Cowboys' third possession of the game, Colts outside linebacker Barkevious Mingo recorded a strip-sack and fellow outside linebacker Lavar Edwards scooped up the ball and returned it 15 yards for a touchdown to tie the game up.
The teams traded field goals in the second quarter to keep the game tied at halftime, 10-10.
Kicker Adam Vinatieri converted his second field goal of the game in the third quarter while Dallas executed two touchdown drives in the second half to pad a 24-13 advantage in the fourth quarter.
For the second consecutive week, Indianapolis quarterback Stephen Morris orchestrated a late scoring drive that resulted in an 18-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Fred Brown. The comeback was thwarted though as Dallas went on to win, 24-1
