The Indianapolis Colts (1-0) will remain at home for a Week 2 contest against the Miami Dolphins. The game will kickoff at 1 p.m. EDT at Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday.
The Colts were victorious in their regular season opener last week against the Oakland Raiders by a score of 21-17. Quarterback Andrew Luck led his eighth career game-winning drive in the fourth quarter or overtime which is the most through the first 17 games of any NFL quarterback that began his career since the 1970 merger. Luck also set career highs in completion percentage (78.3) and passer rating (127.9).
Wide receiver Reggie Wayne led both teams in receiving with eight catches for 96 yards and a touchdown. Defensively, safety Antoine Bethea made the game-saving interception on the Colts six-yard line with 31 seconds remaning in the game. Fellow safety LaRon Landry led the team with 15 tackles, including 11 solo stops.
The Miami Dolphins (1-0) are also coming off a victory in Week 1 after defeating the Cleveland Browns, 23-10. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill completed 24-of-38 passes for 272 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the game. Wide receiver Brian Hartline scored a touchdown and led all receivers with 114 receiving yards on nine receptions. Defensive end Cameron Wake tallied 2.5 sacks in the opener, which ranks tied for third in the league through the first week of the season.
