The Indianapolis Colts will travel to Houston in Week 9 for an AFC South matchup with the Texans. The game time is set for 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, Nov. 5, at NRG Stadium.
The contest will mark the 31st all-time regular season meeting between the teams, with Indianapolis leading the series, 23-7 (10-5 in Houston).
Last week, the Colts faced the Bengals in Cincinnati and were defeated 24-23.
The Bengals converted a field goal on their first offensive series to take an early lead.
In the second quarter, Indianapolis orchestrated two consecutive scoring drives with a field goal by kicker Adam Vinatieri and a touchdown reception by tight end Jack Doyle (career-high 12 receptions for 121 yards). Cincinnati would register its first touchdown of the game and Vinatieri would connect on his second field goal to give the Colts a 13-10 advantage at halftime.
The teams traded touchdowns in the third quarter. Vinatieri converted his third field goal of the game in the fourth quarter to give Indianapolis a three-point lead with 11:21 left in regulation.
The Bengals clinched the win on a 16-yard interception return for a touchdown and held the Colts scoreless the rest of the game.
