The Indianapolis Colts will travel to Tennessee in Week 7 for their first 2016 season tilt with the Titans. The game time is set for 1:00 p.m. EST at Nissan Stadium.
The contest will mark the 43rd all-time meeting between the teams in the regular season, with the Colts holding a 29-13 advantage. Indianapolis has won nine consecutive games against Tennessee and defeated the Titans, 30-24, in their last matchup on Jan. 3, 2016 at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Last week, the Colts fell, 26-23, to the Houston Texans on the road on NBC's Sunday Night Football.
The Colts jumped out to an early 13-0 lead after two Adam Vinatieri field goals and a 22-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Andrew Luck to tight end Jack Doyle. The Texans put their first points on the board late in the second quarter and trailed Indianapolis 13-3 at halftime.
Houston scored their first touchdown of the game in the third quarter and faced a 13-9 defi cit entering the fourth quarter.
Indianapolis put 10 points on the board in the final frame with a Luck rushing touchdown and a Vinatieri fi eld goal to grab a 23-9 lead with 7:04 left in regulation.
The Texans would counter with 14 unanswered points to send the game to overtime. After the Colts were unable to score on the first series of overtime, Houston kicked a game-winning 33-yard field goal to claim the victory, 26-23.
