The Indianapolis Colts will travel to Oakland to face the Raiders on Christmas Eve in Week 16. The game time is set for 4:05 p.m. EST at Oakland Alameda Coliseum.
The contest will mark the 14th all-time meeting between the teams in the regular season, with the Raiders holding a 7-6 advantage. Indianapolis defeated Oakland, 21-17, in their last matchup on Sept. 8, 2013 at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Last week, the Colts faced the Minnesota Vikings at the new U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis and won, 34-6.
Indianapolis dominated from kickoff and scored on 5-of-6 of their first half possesions. On the Colts first possession of the game, kicker Adam Vinatieri connected on a 48-yard field goal to take the early lead. Running back Robert Turbin scored a one-yard rushing touchdown on the following Indianapolis possession to take a 10-0 advantage.
Defensively, the Colts forced three punts and safety Mike Adams forced and recovered a fumble and recorded an interception as Indianapolis held Minnesota scoreless in the first half.
Tight end Mo Alie-Cox caught his first career touchdown pass on a 27- yard throw from quarterback Andrew Luck. Turbin rushed for another touchdown and Vinatieri converted his second field goal of the game as the Colts took a 27-0 halftime lead.
The Vikings made a field goal with 3:51 left in the third quarter for their first points of the game.
In the fourth quarter, Luck threw his second touchdown pass of the game on a 50-yard toss to wide receiver Jacoby Brissett. Minnesota would add another field goal for the final points of the game.
