The Indianapolis Colts will resume AFC South play with a trip to Houston in Week 6 to face the Texans on NBC's Sunday Night Football. The game time is set for 8:30 p.m. EST at NRG Stadium.
The contest will mark the 29th all-time meeting between the teams in the regular season, with the Colts holding a 23-5 advantage. Indianapolis fell to Houston, 16-10, in their last matchup on Dec. 20, 2015 at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Last week, the Colts hosted the Chicago Bears and won, 29-23.
Down 23-19 with 7:04 left in the game, quarterback Andrew Luck (28-of-39 passing for 322 yards and two touchdowns) led the Colts offense on a six-play, 82-yard drive that resulted in a 35-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver T.Y. Hilton (10 receptions for 171 yards and one touchdown). The series marked Luck's 16th fourth quarter or overtime game-winning drive of his career as the Colts would go on to win 29-23.
Running back Frank Gore led the team with 75 rushing yards on 14 carries (5.4 avg.) and passed Pro Football Hall of Famer Jim Brown for ninth on the NFL's all-time rushing list.
Kicker Adam Vinatieri converted all five of his fi eld goal attempts and two extra points for 17 points on the game. Vinatieri currently has made 38 consecutive field goals dating back to last season which ranks second in franchise history, third in NFL history and is the longest active streak in the NFL.
