The Indianapolis Colts will play the Buffalo Bills in its opening contest of the 2015 regular season. Game time is set for 1 p.m. at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Buffalo, N.Y.

The matchup will mark the 68th all-time meeting between the teams in the regular season, with the Bills holding a 35-31-1 advantage. It will mark the first time the two teams have squared off in the regular season since 2012.

The Colts concluded the preseason with a 1-3 record. Quarterback Andrew Luck completed 22-of-36 passes for 275 yards, one touchdown, no interceptions and a 94.1 passer rating. Rookie running back Josh Robinson led the team with 28 carries for 109 yards (3.9 avg.) and one touchdown. Undrafted rookie free agent Tyler Varga contributed 18 rushes for 69 yards and one touchdown. With Varga making the Colts roster, the team extends their NFL-leading streak to 17 consecutive years with an undrafted free agent on its Week 1 roster.

Defensively, the Colts were stout on third and fourth down situations. Indianapolis held all four opponents to a combined 14-for-54 (25.9 percent) on third down and 1-for-5 (20 percent) on fourth down. Outside linebacker Erik Walden provided a consistent pass rush and registered 2.5 sacks in preseason play.

Following Sunday's 2015 regular season opener, the Colts will head back to Indianapolis to host the New York Jets on Monday Night Football on Sept. 21.
