Colts Media Reporter Steve Andress' picks for the top fantasy matchups this week.
Week 8 Start 'Em (16+ points for QBs, 10+ for RB/WR; 31-14 for season, 5-1 last week...barely missed 6-0 with Donte Moncrief scoring 9 points in standard scoring)
Giants QB Eli Manning (@ NO) - Back-to-back weeks under 10 points for Eli, but I'm back on the bandwagon against a Saints defense that's 31st against fantasy quarterbacks.
Lions QB Matthew Stafford (@ KC) - The Lions shook things up and changed offensive coordinators. I care more though about Detroit's inability to run the ball and Kansas City's inability to cover Calvin Johnson. The game is on neutral turf too in London.
Chiefs RB Charcandrick West (vs. DET) - Unlike Sharknado, the sequel to Charcnado will be good. 129 total yards and a score against Pittsburgh last week, and now he faces a Detroit defense that is 21st against fantasy running backs.
Broncos RB Ronnie Hillman (vs. GB) - He has two 100-yard rushing games this year with limited touches. C.J. Anderson has lost the grip on this job, and the Broncos have to stay committed to the run to keep the pressure off Peyton Manning. Plus, Denver is at home coming off a bye.
Vikings WR Stefon Diggs (@ CHI) - Diggs has more receiving yards than T.Y. Hilton and Keenan Allen over the past three games. That's how hot he's been. Now he gets the Chicago secondary that's given up 11 touchdowns to receivers this year.
Cardinals WR Michael Floyd (@ CLE) - Reports are the Cardinals will hold John Brown out of this game (hamstring), which would make Floyd the #2 WR. Floyd already had 50 yards and a touchdown the past two weeks with Brown ON the field.
SLEEPER OF THE WEEK - Browns RB Duke Johnson: I don't expect the Browns to be able to run effectively on the Cardinals front, but Arizona is susceptible to RBs in the passing game and Johnson has been a top-10 PPR running back since week 3.
TIGHT END WEEK 5 SLEEPER - Chargers TE Ladarius Green: same pick as last week. If Gates is out, he's a stud. Even when Gates is in, he's been dependable.
Honorable Mention - Colts RB Frank Gore: You are likely starting him anyway but just wanted to mention Carolina has given up 5 rushing TDs in its last 4 games. It's a good match-up, and the Colts want to feed Gore more.

Week 8 Sit 'Em ( < 16 points for QBs, < 10 for RB/WR; 30-11 on the season, 6-0 last week)
Broncos QB Peyton Manning (vs. GB): The Packers did give up 503 yards to Philip Rivers before the bye, but Manning has 2 touchdowns and 7 interceptions in his last three games. You just can't trust him right now.
Raiders QB Derek Carr (vs. NYJ) - He was awesome last week throwing for 289 yards and three touchdowns, but the Jets secondary is really good. Can't do it this week. Quarterbacks not named Tom Brady have averaged less than 15 fantasy points per game against the J-E-T-S.
Cowboys RB Darren McFadden (vs. SEA) - See above.
Raiders RB Latavius Murray (vs. NYJ) - This is a Jets defense that held LeGarrette Blount to -3 yards rushing last week. You had more rushing yards than the Jets defense allowed last week.
Cowboys WR Dez Bryant (vs. SEA) - 1st game back possibly, but Tony Romo is not the quarterback and the Legion of Boom awaits. Don't get tempted. Plenty of other options out there with good match-ups.
Packers WR James Jones (@ DEN) - 48% of his fantasy points in standard leagues this year have come from touchdowns. That's asking a lot against a Denver defense that's given up 1 touchdown to WRs all season. One.
