INDIANAPOLIS – On Sunday, October 6, the Indianapolis Colts will team up with WTHR Channel 13, Tuchman Cleaners, and The Salvation Army to host the "Coats for Kids" collection, prior to the Colts vs. Seahawks game. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., volunteers will collect new and gently used coats from Colts fans to help children in need. Donations will be collected at the Colts Community Collection Stations, presented by Toyota, located outside each Lucas Oil Stadium gate.

The first 2,000 fans who donate on Sunday will receive an NFL-compliant clear cinch bag, approved for stadium entry! Monetary donations will also be accepted.

All proceeds will benefit the Coats for Kids campaign to provide warm coats to children in Central Indiana who are in need. Since beginning the program 27 years ago, more than 200,000 coats have been donated to help keep children in Central Indiana warm during the cold winter months. This year's "Coats for Kids" distribution will take place October 19 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. For more information about the Coats for Kids campaign, visit www.wthr.com.

The Colts Gameday Collections program will continue to run throughout the 2013 season with a different charitable collection held prior to each home game. Upcoming collections include the CHUCKSTRONG Collection benefiting IU Health Simon Cancer Center, Meijer's SACKing Hunger Food Drive benefiting Gleaners Food Bank and Verizon Wireless Cell Phone Collection. A complete list of future collections is available at www.colts.com/collections.
