Colts Thursday Notebook: Mike Adams, Erik Walden Miss Second Straight Day Of Practice

Intro: The Colts were outdoors for practice Thursday, on a nice Thanksgiving day. The injury report continues to be something that has several starters under the “did not practice” label.

INDIANAPOLIS – Thanksgiving temperatures in the 50s sent the Colts outside Thursday for their second practice of Buccaneers week.

We had an Andrew Luck sighting during the media portion of practice. Luck is still not practicing, but Thursday was the first time No. 12 has been out there during that part of practice, since suffering a lacerated kidney against Denver.

In early position drills with the offensive line, we continue you to see rookie seventh-round pick Denzelle Good working with the first team at right tackle.

If Good and Joe Reitz are the starting tackles Sunday, that would keep the Colts normal interior intact (Jack Mewhort, Jonotthan Harrison, Hugh Thornton).INJURY NOTES

Here is Thursday's injury report:

  • DNP: S-Mike Adams (ankle), OT-Anthony Castonzo (knee), WR-Phillip Dorsett (ankle), ILB-D'Qwell Jackson (rest), QB-Andrew Luck (abdomen/kidney), CB-Greg Toler (groin), OLB-Erik Walden (heel)

-For this week, the Adams and Walden injuries will be the ones to watch. They have missed two straight days of work. Toler practiced full on Wednesday before sitting out Thursday.

  • LIMITED: ILB-Sio Moore (back), ILB-Jerrell Freeman (ribs), CB-D'Joun Smith (knee), OG-Hugh Thornton (shoulder)

-Freeman returned to practice Thursday after missing Wednesday.

  • FULL: CB-Vontae Davis (hamstring), RB-Frank Gore (ankle), WR-Andre Johnson (rest), OLB-Robert Mathis (rest)

-Davis and Gore both got back on the field in full roles Thursday.
