COLTS SUPPORT BREAST CANCER AWARENESS

This Sunday, the Indianapolis Colts are celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness Month by incorporating a variety of pink elements into their game versus the Seahawks.

**Colts Encourage Fans to "Go Pink" at Their October 4 Game

INDIANAPOLIS – While blue is normally the color of choice at Colts home games; on Sunday, October 4, fans may notice quite a bit of pink in and around Lucas Oil Stadium. As the Colts prepare to take on the Seahawks, they are also supporting an important cause that has affected millions of women nationwide.

To commemorate national Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Colts are encouraging their fans to join them in recognizing individuals who have fought this disease and raising awareness for the importance of annual breast cancer screenings. Nationally, the NFL has designated the week of October 4 as their league-wide celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. As a result, teams across the country will be incorporating a variety of pink elements into their gameday festivities.

Following is a list of Breast Cancer Awareness activities that the Colts have planned for their October 4 game:

Outdoor Activities

  • Pre-Game Pink Ribbon Passout*
*   Volunteers from Zeta Tau Alpha will be distributing ribbons

from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

  • Commemorative Pink Colts Trading Cards Sets*
*   Free card sets will be distributed at the American Cancer

Society booth in the American Family Fan Zone from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

  • Limited Edition Colts Breast Cancer Awareness Shirts*
*   Sold by the Indianapolis Colts Women's Organization
*   T-shirt sales begin at 10 a.m. in the American Family Fan

Zone * T-shirts are $20 each, with all proceeds benefiting the IU Simon Cancer Center.

  •  "Gameday" Pink Hair
*   Stylists from Great Clips will be set up in the American Family

Fan Zone from 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. to help fans get their gameday look by temporarily dying their hair pink. All proceeds will benefit Breast Cancer charities.

  • Inflatable Pink Ribbon and Free Mammogram Reminder Cards*
*   Clarian Health partners will have a large inflatable pink

ribbon outside the southeast corner of the stadium and will be providing free mammogram reminder cards for fans.

In-Stadium Elements

  • Full-field Pink Ribbon Flag Presentation by Survivors
*   Eighty Indiana breast cancer survivors will present the flag

during pre-game festivities.

  • Special Edition Pink Scout Magazine*
*   This free game program is available to fans as they enter the

stadium.

  • Limited Edition Colts Breast Cancer Awareness Shirts*
*   Sold by the Indianapolis Colts Women's Organization
*   T-shirt sales begin at 10 a.m. in the Sprint East Gate, James

Allen Insurance Southwest Corner, ProLiance Lower Suites and DEEM Upper Suites. * T-shirts are $20 each, with all proceeds benefiting the IU Simon Cancer Center.

  • Sideline Apparel
*   Colts players, coaches, cheerleaders and Blue will be outfitted

in a variety of pink attire during the game in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
