INDIANAPOLIS – It's the offseason, so Colts.com takes a look at some tweets from Colts players to get an idea of what they are up to during their down time.
The Colts 2016 Rookie Class has reported to Indianapolis for their three-day minicamp. The rookies will get on the field each of the next three days. Then, starting Monday, the rookies will join up with the veterans to continue the rest of the team's offseason program (five weeks remaining).
Jack Doyle celebrated his 26th birthday this week. Doyle's role in his fourth season with the Colts could be quite expansive. Coby Fleener is no longer in Indy and if the Colts still plan to use a decent amount of two tight end sets, Doyle is the likely option alongside Dwayne Allen.
With the Indiana primary receiving national attention this past week, it sparked an idea: Who would be the best presidential candidate inside the Colts locker room? The leading vote getter might not be who you would expect it to be.
The Boomstick turned 29 years old earlier this week. McAfee has a busy couple of months on the horizon. He will be in Fort Wayne for a comedy show on May 20 and then in June, the dual-threat punter will host a three-night event at Morty’s Comedy Club.
