INDIANAPOLIS – On Sunday, January 4, 2015, the Colts teamed up with Dayspring Center Family Emergency Shelter to host a cash collection prior to the Colts vs. Bengals game. Donations were collected at the Colts Community Collection Stations, presented by Toyota, located inside each Lucas Oil Stadium gate.

This weekend's collection raised over $3,800 dollars for the Dayspring Center. A COLTSTRONG thank you goes out to all those who gave at this weekend's playoff game.

Dayspring Center provides emergency shelter, clothing and three nourishing meals-a-day for homeless families with children in central Indiana. Families turn to Dayspring Center as a last resort; some to escape domestic abuse, others have experienced financial collapse, medical problems or crises that caused them to lose their home.

On any given night, more than 3,700 children are homeless in Indianapolis. All proceeds from Sunday's collection will help Dayspring Center serve these children and their families by providing food, shelter and support services for them.
