On Sunday, September 25, 2016, the Colts teamed up with Damar Services to host a Hat and Glove collection prior to the Colts vs. Chargers game. 2 hours prior to kickoff, volunteers accepted monetary and in-kind donations to benefit Damar Services. Donations were collected at the Colts Community Collection Stations, presented by Toyota, located outside of each Lucas Oil Stadium gate.
Damar Services volunteers successfully collected over $1,300. All items collected will benefit the children and adults served by Damar Services, which for nearly 50 years has served people challenged by autism, intellectual, developmental and behavioral disabilities.
Fans were also encouraged to show their support for Damar Services and the Colts Gameday Collection Program by utilizing social media. Fans took pictures or videos and tagged @DamarServices on Twitter, @ColtsCommunity on Twitter and Instagram or 'Colts in the Community' on Facebook.
The Colts Gameday Collections program will continue to run throughout the 2016 season with a different charitable collection held at each home game. For more information about the Colts Gameday Collections program, visit www.colts.com/collections.
