INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Colts entered the 2018 NFL Draft with nine picks and ended the weekend with 11 in one of the more successful rookie hauls in team history.
What will Chris Ballard & Co. do for an encore?
For starters, we know the Colts, as of now, will once again enter the 2019 NFL Draft with nine picks, as the NFL announced on Friday that Indianapolis had been awarded an extra fourth-round compensatory pick. Factoring in last year's trade with the New York Jets — which netted the Colts an additional 2019 second-round pick — Indianapolis has one pick in all seven rounds this year, with two picks in rounds two and four.
Here is where all nine of the Colts' 2019 draft picks officially will fall, barring any moves between now and the draft, which kicks off Thursday, April 25:
» 1st round (26th overall)
» 2nd round (34th overall; from Jets)
» 2nd round (59th overall)
» 3rd round (89th overall)
» 4th round (129th overall)
» 4th round (135th overall; compensatory pick)
» 5th round (164th overall)
» 6th round (199th overall)
» 7th round (240th overall)
