Colts Announce 'Fantennial' Weekend Events To Celebrate 100 NFL Seasons

In honor of the 100th season of the NFL this year, the Indianapolis Colts are hosting “Fantennial,” a series of events that will give Colts fans a chance to celebrate this milestone season.

Indianapolis – In honor of the 100th season of the NFL this year, the Indianapolis Colts are hosting "Fantennial," a series of events that will give Colts fans a chance to celebrate this milestone season. Highlights will include:

Fri., Nov. 8

  • Friday Night Football – IHSAA High School Sectional game (TBD)

Sat., Nov. 9

  • FREE Family Day at The Children's Museum of Indianapolis (10 a.m.—5 p.m.)

Sun., Nov. 10

  • Colts vs. Miami Dolphins (4:05 p.m.)
  • Dwight Freeney Ring of Honor induction (halftime of game)

Fri., Nov. 8 – "Friday Night Football"

The Colts organization will be on hand to celebrate the sport of football at a to-be-determined IHSAA high school football Sectional game, featuring special visits from Colts Alumni players, autographs and photos with Colts Cheerleaders, football skills challenges, Colts giveaways and more!

Sat., Nov. 9 – Free Family Day at The Children's Museum of Indianapolis

The Colts will host fans at the Children's Museum, the world's largest and top-ranked museum of its kind, which will open its doors to all guests that day for free.

The all-day event will feature visits from Colts Alumni players, cheerleaders and mascot "Blue," as well as the chance to visit the museum and two Colts-themed experiences: the permanent Riley Children's Health Sports Legends Experience, which was created to get families fit and active together while having fun, and the new "First & Goal" exhibit, which teaches visitors the story of football through the Colts' lens. Attendees can receive a free paper Colts helmet while supplies last.

10 a.m. – Museum opens

11 a.m. – 3 p.m. – Visit from Colts Alumni players

11 a.m. – 3 p.m. – Autographs and pictures with Colts Cheerleaders

11:30 a.m.-12 p.m. – Appearance by "Blue"

1–1:30 p.m. – Appearance by "Blue"

5 p.m. – Museum closes

Sun., Nov. 10 – Colts-Broncos & Dwight Freeney Ring of Honor Induction _

Former Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney will be inducted into the Indianapolis Colts Ring of Honor at Lucas Oil Stadium at halftime of the Nov. 10 game vs. the Miami Dolphins. The first 2,000 fans in American Family Insurance Touchdown Town will receive a free Freeney koozie. Fans in attendance at the game will receive a free stadium rally towel.

Fans may purchase single-game tickets online at Colts.com/Tickets or www.Ticketmaster.com or in person at the Ticketmaster Box Office at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Freeney played 11 seasons (2002-12) with the Colts after being selected by the team in the first round (11th overall) of the 2002 NFL Draft out of Syracuse. As a Colt, Freeney was a three-time Associated Press First Team All-Pro and a seven-time Pro Bowl selection. He was a member of the Colts' Super Bowl XLI championship team and played in two more Super Bowls, one as a Colt and one as a member of the Atlanta Falcons.
