COLTS ADD FREE AGENT

Indianapolis has signed free agent defensive end Brandon Peguese.

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Colts today signed free agent defensive end Brandon Peguese.

Peguese, 6-1, 230 pounds, was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Philadelphia Eagles on July 26, 2011. He was released prior to the start of the regular season on August 26.

A graduate of Hampton University, Peguese earned Sports Network FCS All-America and First Team All-MEAC honors in 2010 as he finished third on the team in tackles (85). He also ranked third in the conference with 8.0 sacks while ranking second in the MEAC in tackles for loss with 23.5. Peguese finished his collegiate career with 179 tackles and 18.0 sacks.
