Colts, 20/20 Institute To Offer Community Service Grants For Youth

Hoosier students may apply for up to $1,000 to improve their community

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Colts and 20/20 Institute are teaming up for the second year to sponsor the Vision of the Future Grant, which awards Hoosier young people up to $1,000 to complete a service project in their community.

Students aged 11-15 who have an idea to make their community a better place may apply for an individual grant at **Colts.com/2020visiongrant**.

To be eligible, all applicants are required to partner with a registered nonprofit organization and submit an application no later than October 1, 2018.

After October 1, a panel of Colts representatives and community leaders will select the final recipients. All applicants will be notified of the decisions no later than October 15, 2018.

"Our 20/20 team is proud and excited to present the Vision of the Future Grant," said Dr. Diana Fisher, CEO of 20/20 Institute. "Just as the 20/20 Institute family is dedicated to providing a world-class experience for a lifetime of great vision, we are also dedicated to making a difference in the community that will last throughout time. This grant allows our upcoming generation to make a difference today that will make a lasting impact on the quality of lives surrounding us."

"The Colts believe the Vision of the Future Grant can help inspire incredible acts of compassion and kindness by young people across Indiana," said Stephanie Pemberton, Colts vice president of marketing. "We are excited to build on our partnership with 20/20 Institute and make this funding available to students who are looking to make a difference in their communities."
