The Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday announced their trade with the Tennessee Titans for wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins.
The deal is for a 2025 fifth-round pick that can become a fourth-rounder if the Chiefs reach Super Bowl LIX and Hopkins plays 60% of snaps as a Chief, and the Titans will pay $2.5 million of Hopkins' remaining $8 million salary, per NFL Network.
Hopkins, a five-time Pro Bowler in his 12th year in the NFL, was in the final year of a two-year deal with the Titans. Through six games in the 2024 season, Hopkins had 15 receptions for 173 yards and one touchdown. He was second on the team with an average of 11.5 yards per reception.
In the Titans' 20-17 loss to the Colts in Week 6, Hopkins led the Titans with four receptions for 54 yards.
In two games against the Colts in 2023, Hopkins totaled 13 receptions for 215 yards and one touchdown.
The Colts will play the Titans at Lucas Oil Stadium in Week 16.
