INDIANAPOLIS – It's the offseason, so Colts.com takes a look at some tweets from Colts players to get an idea of what they are up to during their down time.
Jones has some family ties for championship weekend. His brother, Chandler, is arguably New England's best defender. There are several Colts' ties to the teams this weekend, as well. Obviously Denver (Peyton Manning) and Arizona (HC-Bruce Arians, C-A.Q. Shipley, OT-Bradley Sowell, DE-Cory Redding, who is on injured reserve, RB-Kerwynn Williams, CB-Jerraud Powers and QB-Drew Stanton), but Carolina could also have former Colts defensive end Mario Addison in the starting lineup this weekend.
Taking a scour of Colts' players on social media and many of them have escaped the first real snow of the year. This is the time of year where players are traveling and decompressing from the season. For guys that have families in Indianapolis though, it's about celebrating a two-hour delay (Matt Hasselbeck).
On Monday, McAfee joined the Harlem Globetrotters at BankersLife Fieldhouse. Here’s a little clip of McAfee and his skit with the Globetrotters. Having seen McAfee shoot a basketball, he's got a jump shot to go along with Boomstick of a right leg.
This is part of the business fans don't really get a glimpse of this time of year. Chuck Pagano called Clyde Christensen "the best quarterbacks coach in the world" earlier this year. Christensen is now in Miami, where he will be the Dolphins' offensive coordinator. Christensen was by far the longest tenured coach in Indianapolis. He arrived to the Colts in 2002 with Tony Dungy.
