Anthony Richardson will be the Colts' starting quarterback for Sunday's Week 11 game against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium, head coach Shane Steichen announced Wednesday.
Richardson will return behind center after spending the last two weeks backing up veteran Joe Flacco. Richardson will be the Colts' starting quarterback for the rest of the season, Steichen said.
Through six games this season, Richardson is 59/133 (44.4 percent) for 958 yards with four touchdowns, seven interceptions, 41 rushing attempts, 242 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown. The Colts are 3-3 in games started by the 22-year-old Richardson, the No. 4 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
