Indianapolis School Teacher Honored As Anthem Angel This

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Colts are proud to announce a resident of Indianapolis, Ind. as a 2009 honoree of the Anthem Angels program, presented by Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Kristin Lambert was recognized at the Colts home game on Sunday, December 6, for her outstanding contribution to the community.
Kristin, nominated by Nate Himsel, has been a School Teacher for the past 5 years
In addition to shaping the young minds of her seventh-grade students, Kristin Lambert spends the majority of her time giving back to her community. She is involved in many organizations, but one specific group that receives her time year-round is the Area 8 Special Olympics. Kristin enjoys working with this exceptional group of individuals who remain upbeat, positive and optimistic through obstacles and roadblocks of all kinds and varieties. Kristin's selfless, compassionate, giving attitude makes her a role model to all.
In honor of Kristin's heroism, she received four (4) VIP Club Seat Tickets to the Colts game, a feature story with her photo in the Colts gameday magazine (the Scout) and on www.colts.com, as well as recognition on-field recognition at the game.
"Anthem Angels…Honoring Everyday Heroes" was established by the Indianapolis Colts and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield to pay tribute to Hoosier "First Respondents" who may have received little or no recognition for the strides they have made to help others in human-service related professions.
