INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Colts are proud to announce a resident of Knightstown, Ind. as a 2010 honoree of the Anthem Angels program, presented by Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Derek J. Hall was recognized at the Colts home game on Monday, November 1, for his outstanding contribution to the community.
Officer Derek J. Hall has been a member of the Knightstown Police Department for four years and serves as an outstanding example in his community. As the K9 handler for the Knightstown Police Department, Officer Hall educates local schools about drug intervention and prevention. He and his K9 partner have also assisted the Indiana PACE team with seizure of drugs and paraphernalia. Officer Hall actively provides drug awareness education and volunteers his time to train others in drug intervention
Residents of Knightstown recognize Officer Hall for his integrity, patience, and reliability as a law enforcement officer. The Indianapolis Colts congratulate this week's Anthem Angel, Officer Derek J. Hall.
"Anthem Angels…Honoring Everyday Heroes" was established by the Indianapolis Colts and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield to pay tribute to Hoosier "First Respondents" who may have received little or no recognition for the strides they have made to help others in human-service related professions.

In honor of Officer Hall's outstanding service, he received four (4) VIP Club Seat Tickets to the Colts game, a feature story with his photo in the Colts gameday magazine (the Scout) and on www.colts.com, as well as on-field recognition at the game.
