AFC NOTES
AFC PLAYOFF PUSH INTENSIFIES
As the NFL enters Week 15, 12 AFC teams are still alive for a trip to Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans on February 3.
The Houston Texans (11-2), New England Patriots (10-3) and Denver Broncos (10-3) have clinched playoff berths, but the other three AFC postseason spots are still to be determined. Houston, which owns the AFC's best record, can capture the AFC South title for the second consecutive year on Sunday. The Patriots and Broncos clinched their respective division titles in Week 13.
Baltimore (9-4) has the opportunity to clinch a division title this week, and Indianapolis (9-4) is on the cusp of earning a playoff berth and is still in contention for the AFC South title.
