Colts Fans Show Up in Big Numbers to Bleed Blue
INDIANAPOLIS – On Tuesday, December 9, Colts fans showed their true colors as nearly 2,000 Hoosiers helped save a life by participating in the kickoff of the 2008 Bleed Blue Blood Drive, presented by CardioChek, at Lucas Oil Stadium. Despite the rainy weather, spirits were high and hearts were generous as hundreds filed through the gates each hour to make a donation that costs nothing, but is truly priceless.
The Indianapolis Colts, Indiana Blood Center, CardioChek and Novartis Pharmaceuticals thank everyone who took time out of their day to join us at Lucas Oil Stadium on December 9. If you were unable to make it to the stadium, there's still time to participate in the Bleed Blue Blood Drive! Today through Saturday, December 13, anyone who visits one of the Indiana Blood Center locations throughout the State will receive a limited edition Gary Brackett football and photograph. Visit www.indianablood.org for a complete list of locations and hours.
As we look forward to 2009, we welcome any questions or comments you'd like to share about your experience at the Bleed Blue Blood Drive. Please e-mail your thoughts to bleedblue@indianablood.org.
Thank you for supporting your Indianapolis Colts by giving the gift of life this holiday season!
