THE SKINNY:
Jack Doyle defined consistency last season when he didn't blink after the team decided to roll with Jacoby Brissett at quarterback.
In fact, Doyle wasn't just consistent — he put in a career year.
He finished with 80 receptions — the second-most by a tight end in a single season in team history — and was named to his first Pro Bowl.
And now, Doyle is one-half of an exciting new tight end duo in Indianapolis, as the team this offseason signed former first-round pick Eric Ebron, who spent his first four seasons with the Detroit Lions, and has the speed and agility to make plays all over the field.
From there, several players are hoping to showcase what they can do at the position, including Mo Alie-Cox, Darrell Daniels, Erik Swoope and Ross Travis.
