2007: PULLING AWAY

COLTS 38, TEXANS 15 Dallas Clark in 2007 emerged as one of the top tight ends in the NFL and in the process, had one of the best seasons for a tight end in Colts history, finishing the season with a career-high 58 receptions for 616 yards and 11 touchdowns. In the Colts' 38-15 victory over the Houston Texans at the RCA Dome on December 23, Clark caught six passes for 60 yards and two touchdowns. His first touchdown was this 6-yarder in the second quarter that gave the Colts a 17-7 lead. It also moved him past Hall of Fame tight end John Mackey for first place on the all-time list for touchdown receptions by a Colts tight end in a season. He and Mackey previously had been tied with nine touchdowns in a single season.
