2007: A FIRST FOR FREENEY

COLTS 29, JAGUARS 7 The Jaguars, after trailing by 17 points at halftime, took the second half kickoff and drove for a touchdown that made it, 17-7, Colts with just under 10 minutes remaining in the third quarter. That meant Jacksonville still had hopes of a comeback when it took possession with just over five minutes remaining in the quarter. Then, Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney - a three-time Pro Bowl selection - broke around left tackle and sacked quarterback Quinn Gray for a safety. It was, Freeney said later, his first safety in the NFL, college or high school.
