The Indianapolis Colts kicked off the regular season and "Colts Community Tuesdays" by partnering with American Family Insurance for the Colts School Uniform Blitz at James Russell Lowell School #51 in Indianapolis providing more than 500 Lowell students with school outfits, helping eliminate school clothing as a barrier to students attending and staying in school. The event also included a book fair, where Lowell students were given an opportunity to pick two Scholastic books, free of charge.

Through the Colts first eight games of the season, the offensive line ranks top-10 in pass-blocking grade, run-blocking grade and sacks allowed, per Pro Football Focus. The group credits their strengthened bonds over the offseason for their improvement.

French and/or Freeland have started four of the Colts' six games in 2023. 

The Colts erased a 23-0 third quarter deficit thanks in part to the culture established by Shane Steichen, and the remarkable playmaking ability of Anthony Richardson.
