As a sophomore at Rice, he appeared in 10 games (five starts) and recorded 18 receptions for 241 yards as well as six carries for 51 yards.

2016:

Competed in eight games (two starts) as a true freshman and accumulated 33 receptions for a team-high 381 yards and two touchdowns. Also contributed 41 yards on four carries.
His 33 receptions ranked second on the team.

PERSONAL:

Attended Westlake High School in Austin, Texas and tallied 48 receptions for 739 yards and 11 touchdowns during his career.
As a senior, he earned second team all-district honors after he recorded 39 receptions for 630 yards and 10 touchdowns while also rushing for 100 yards after missing the first seven games of the season.
Qualified for regionals in the 4x200 relay in track.
Garnered academic all-state honorable mention honors.
Was a member of FCA and the National Honor Society.
