Spent part of the offseason program with Green Bay before being waived.
COLLEGE:
Appeared in 34 games (23 starts) at Prairie View A&M from 2015-19 and completed 372-of-695 passes for 5,237 yards with 42 touchdowns and 29 interceptions. He also rushed for 1,579 yards and 22 touchdowns and tallied four receptions for 29 yards and one touchdown.
In 2019, he started eight games and completed 122-of-255 passes for 1,841 yards and 15 touchdowns with 10 interceptions. He also contributed 74 carries for 450 yards and six touchdowns. As a redshirt junior, he started all 11 games and completed 170-of-327 passes for a single-season career-high 2,344 yards and a single-season career-high 18 touchdowns. He also tallied single-season career-highs in rushing yards (874) and rushing touchdowns (10) on 130 carries.
In 2017, he saw action in six games and completed 8-of-17 passes for 107 yards and one touchdown. He also added eight carries for 65 yards as well as three receptions for 21 yards.
As a redshirt freshman, he appeared in nine games (four starts) and completed 72-of-146 passes for 945 yards and eight touchdowns. He also contributed to the ground game with 58 carries for 190 yards and six touchdowns.

PERSONAL:
Attended Seguin High School in Arlington, Texas.
As a senior, he earned second team all-district honors after he recorded 1,014 passing yards with nine touchdowns as well as 490 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns.
Also played baseball.
His cousin, Torii Hunter, played 19 seasons in Major League Baseball and was a five-time All-Star.
