Just as Big Ben is one of the iconic images of London, the Soldiers & Sailors Monument found in Monument Circle in Indianapolis has come to symbolize both the city and the state of Indiana as a whole.

Both sports are called football, but the equipment required to play is anything but similar. American football uniforms include helmets, shoulder pads, a jersey, thigh pads, knee pads and cleats. A kit, strip, or soccer uniform consists of a jersey, shorts, socks, footwear and shin pads.

Founded in 1821, Indianapolis is the capital and largest city in Indiana, covering 372 square miles. London has been a major settlement for two millennia and is the capital and most populous city in ithe United Kingdom.

The traditional attire for soccer fans are their beloved team scarves. The Colts are hoping to see a lot of fans sporting football jerseys come Sunday.

"God Save The Queen" (or "God Save the King" depending on the gender of the reigning monarch) is the national anthem of the United Kingdom of Great Britain. While "(Back Home Again in) Indiana" is not the official state song it is perhaps the best-known song about Indiana.

Lucas Oil Stadium became home to the Indianapolis Colts in 2008 and hosted Super Bowl XLVI in 2012. Wembley Stadium opened in 2007 and hosts the home matches of the England national soccer team.

Nearly all of the world's popcorn comes from the United States with Indiana producing only slightly less than Nebraska's 25% share of the national production. The United Kingdom's largest agricultural product is wheat. The country ranks 14th in the world for wheat production.

Chase Tower, opened in 1990, is the tallest building in Indiana. At 95 stories, The Shard has some height on Chase Tower and is the tallest building in the United Kingdon

Americans know there is hardly anything better than a hotdog at a ball game, but it might be time for them to try one of the meat pies that is so popular aborad.

The Indiana Central Canal was dug in the early 1800s to facilitate interstate commerce, but now serves the downtown Indianapolis community with a refurbished Canal Walk. The River Thames, the longest river in England, flows through London and Oxford among other towns and cities.
