The 2010 Indianapolis Colts Cheerleaders are now taking registrations for the official full-season long Colts Junior Cheerleading Program! This program is offered to girls ages 7-14. Colts Jr. Cheerleading can strengthen individual talents and abilities as an eventful experience in a non-competitive environment. Girls will learn basic performance fundamentals of cheerleading and dance, and also experience the community and public relations aspects of what it takes to become an Indianapolis Colts Cheerleader. Our next event is a bowling party with the Colts Cheerleaders on July 25th! This event is a good way to meet all 32 Colts Cheerleaders and other Jr. Cheerleaders.
Aside from the bowling party, there are many other opportunities that Jr. Cheerleaders get to experience. There are a minimum of five rehearsals, which are taught by the Colts Cheerleaders and a choreographer. Jr. Cheerleaders also get to perform at select Colts home games which entail cheering and dancing with the Colts Cheerleaders.
Besides all the great training and exciting performance days, Jr. Cheerleaders also participate in charity and community appearances with the Colts Cheerleaders. In the past years, Junior Cheerleaders have visited troops at Camp Atterbury, helped "sack hunger," participated in WISH Tree Toy Drive, and many more.
Other opportunities that are exclusive to Jr. Cheerleaders are the official Jr. Colts Cheerleader replica uniforms, t-shirt, and pom-poms. They also have photo and television appearance opportunities with the Colts Cheerleaders. There is cute, new official Junior Cheerleading merchandise, like warm-ups, shorts, tanks, sweatshirts, hats, and boots that can only be purchased if you are a Jr. Cheerleader.
The Colts Cheerleaders are brought to you in part by Tyler Mason Hair Salon & Spa, so what better way than to give the Jr. Cheerleaders a chance to participate in Tyler Mason Glam Day. On this day, Jr. Cheerleaders will receive hair and makeup lessons, which is a fun way for them to learn how they can look their best on performance days.
