"You want to. There is only one way to consider somebody a 'shutdown' type of corner, and that is not to throw to them. Hopefully, I will get my number called a few times on Saturday night and I can come up big. I can expect him to do his best in trying to defend me and hopefully, like I said, I will do the same and go out and make plays."

"No. We have some guys that are key to this team and have been put on injured reserve, but that's no excuse. We've got guys who should step in and try their best to make it seem like there is no drop-off, and that's kind of what we have. Guys have been doing great at that. Just getting in, what does that mean? Anybody can just get in, but it's getting in, being successful and moving on to the next stage, and that's what we are trying to get done."

I feel like these are two top-notch corners that are in this game and they are going to force you to bring your 'A' game. I accept the challenge. I accept the challenge no matter who we play. Does my intensity change? No, that stays the same. I still prepare the same way and nothing is going to change on that. Like I said, hopefully we go in and start off on the right foot as a team and then we move on from there. We will need everybody to step up even more. We are not going to ask you to do more, but we just need you to just continue to step up. If you have been stepping up, then continue to do that. "They are a Cover 1, Cover 0 type of team. He is on an island sometimes. CB- (Antonio) Cromartie is on an island sometimes. It's being able to, which is going to be up to Peyton, to read that pre-snap and figure out who is on the island by themselves. Sometimes it is both of them at the same time. They are two good corners. They work hard at their craft. You can tell that this is something that they focused on in the offseason, and they have a great defense. The defense causes a lot of havoc and a lot of problems for opposing offenses. So we are just going to have to be able to beat man coverage and get open. I do not think there is one receiver that plays in this league that doesn't feel like they can't get open against man coverage or accepts that challenge. Normally we are playing teams that we get in Cover 2 and we are complaining that we never get Cover 1 or Cover 0 coverage. Well, now we are getting it. So now we are going to have to back up what we have been wanting to get all year. It is going to be good. It is going to be fun. We could not ask for a better game. It's primetime. Everybody will be watching. Hopefully we will go out and play Colts football."

"I would not say necessarily say on the run. By the time I got here a lot of the foundation was built. As you guys would know, I wasn't here in the summer. He was able to get with Ron Turner, the receivers coach, and throw with Peyton Manning all summer and get a foundation going. Once training camp came in, I just wanted to lead by example just with my work ethic. Hopefully that was good for him to see and then here and there give him what worked for me and maybe it will work for him. Everybody has their own signature move. He has his own thing and hopefully it has been working for him. Whenever he comes and he asks, I give him the best knowledge I can possibly give him."

"I told him, you know that was mine and all of them are not for you. (Laughs) At the same time, on the sideline I told him not to worry about it. I said I would much rather you be out there in my way trying to make a play than just standing there in the way. I can take that. I can accept that even though that is one less touchdown I probably would have had. He is out there and is 100 miles per hour. He's got a lot going on. He's a rookie. He is filling in some big shoes. He is just out there trying to make a play, and that's all you can ask for."

"We are going to need all of that support. We are going to need everything. We are going to need that 12th man to be on their feet like they've been doing for my 10 years here. I believe that they know it's playoff time. So everything now is times 10. We are going to need them to make those loud sounds and cheers and make it hard on the Jets. I think that's the bonus of having a home game, and I think they understand that. I am not worrying about the fans. I already know what they are going to do. They are going to be loud just like always."
