WR-BRANDON STOKLEY (on feeling the need to top statistical records from last year) Training Camp
"I think we feel the need to win more games. I don't think we're really there for the statistics. I know I'm not there for the statistics. I want a Super Bowl and that's what we're all about. As long as we win games, we don't really care about the numbers. They'll take care of themselves."
WR-BRANDON STOKLEY (on if QB-Peyton Manning can top 49 TD passes) Training Camp
"Definitely. If we all play well and if we all stay healthy, there's not a doubt in my mind we can top it. Will it happen? I don't know. We have to go out there and do it on Sunday. But, definitely, it's possible."
WR-BRANDON STOKLEY (on the pressure to beat the New England Patriots) Training Camp
"I think it is a little too much [pressure]. If we beat them, that doesn't mean we win the Super Bowl. That's not really our goal, to beat the Patriots. Every year, the last couple of years, we've had to face them and we haven't gotten the job done. They've been that hurdle. If we face them in the playoffs this year, we have to beat them. We have to play better. We just haven't gotten the job done the last two years."
