"It's not a surprise to us. I think, if anything is a surprise, is how we've done it. I think we're only scoring 12 points a game, and it's very hard to do that. But with the type of defense we have, fortunately for us, we've been able to do that."

"You look at those guys and you just watch film. You hear a lot of times on TV saying how they don't have a defense, but when you look on film, those guys are playing good football. They wreak havoc. "I've never seen a corner that wasn't beat. Everybody, at some point, is going to get beat, unless it was Deion (Sanders) in his prime. When you look at that, you can't say, 'Hey, this guy got beat. This guy got beat on this, this guy got beat on that.' I think you have to look at it as a whole and the way they are playing. Their defense gives them opportunities to win football games."

"I think statistical samples after three weeks of the season are a little misleading. Certainly (the Colts) are an explosive offense and will be somewhere at the top of the league when it's all said and done. I just believe that our group is going to have a better showing as the year goes on. So, I don't think that ranking is reflective of the type of group we have."
