WR-REGGIE WAYNE (on stepping up his play this season) *Training Camp *
"I just want to continue to do things right. Receivers in this league, everyone can catch, everybody can run and everybody knows how to run routes. So, it's doing the little things, the yards after catches, running from the huddle, extra film study. That's just things you have to put into your game. That's what makes you better. Then you just have to take advantage of it."
WR-REGGIE WAYNE (on his catch this morning) Training Camp
"When the offense needs a good play [QB-Peyton Manning] kind of gives you this look and you kind of have the feeling it's going to come to you. It's just comfortable, repetition. We've been doing it, going on four years now, and we've been going all off-season this year."
LB-GARY BRACKETT (on being a starter, versus vying for a spot on the team) Training Camp
"I'm just focusing on making myself better and trying to do great things. With it being my second year in the defense, I'm more confident and I can take a leadership role with the second string and help them get lined up so we can be more efficient."
LB-GARY BRACKETT (on the team's depth) Training Camp
"We definitely have a deep team and that creates competition in itself, and that creates a great practice atmosphere. When you're getting better and a guy behind me, Keyon Whiteside, he's hungry and getting better, so it just pushes everybody. And when you push the guy in front of you, it just makes the team better."
LB-DAVID THORNTON (on his reaction to moving to strong side) Training Camp
"My reaction was slow at first, but when I realized that in order to win games I had to move to the strong side, I knew that was what I had to do. Coach Dungy wouldn't make any moves unless he was confident that I could do the job, so I was willing to move over and do the job to the best of my abilities."
