"I think he can improve a lot. I think he is still raw as a receiver. He's got some tremendous skills. He's got speed and quickness out of the break, and hands and toughness, which is what you need. Route-running and recognizing coverages and adjusting…it's pretty new to him but he's got some skills. He's polished as a returner. He understands how to catch the ball and what blocking is going to look like and he's got good vision, but he is just scratching the surface as a receiver."

"We had a great recommendation on him from Dave Logan, who played in the NFL and knows the game and had coached Brad. Obviously working him out, we saw the hands and speed and quickness, but I don't think we really knew how good he could be."

"He doesn't look all that different, but the thing he's been able to do is practice every day and continue to get better. Last year we were just so conscience of monitoring it and giving him days off and limiting his reps and those kinds of things. Now we're not really thinking about it. We're just letting him practice and I think that's the big difference."

"David is actually kicking better than I was led to believe he would. He's made a ton of field goals for us. We haven't had a lot of live, rush situations but, he's much more accurate than maybe the scouting report was. He kicks a nice ball, he's got great rotation on it and kicks it high. That was what you heard about him–the leg strength and pop in the leg. He's got all that."

"It will be tough. It's not something that you take lightly because you're taking a spot away from a guy who can conceivable play 25-to-40 plays in a game. But you'll do what's best for the team and if David ends up becoming a valuable weapon we'll use him."
