WR-BRANDON STOKLEY (on returning to practice)
"I was getting bored standing around watching. When you are out there twice a day and you are not practicing, it feels like you are out there a week at a time. It is nice to get back out there and get into a routine."
WR-BRANDON STOKLEY (on competition at wide receiver)
"Anytime you are not out there, it is not fun. Guys have a chance to step up, make plays and get noticed. You want to be the one doing that."
LB-DAVID THORNTON (on the attention he is getting)
"I am not really tired of it. I enjoy it. I don't really see it as a microscope. I see it as a total defensive unit. There are eleven players out there being responsible for doing their jobs. As long as we trust our system, everyone will do well."
RB-DOMINIC RHODES (on the rash of injuries to the running backs)
"I am worried about getting myself on the field. It does not matter who is on the field, as long as they put me out there, I will make something happen. The hardest part is not being able to compete and get out on the field. I am a competitor and being hurt does not sit well with me."
HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on whether or not there has been any game plan for Friday's game against the Seahawks)
"This is our first practice to really look at what Seattle does. So, we had a chance to run some things today that we think we are going to use."
HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on the defensive)
"Our run defense was not as sharp as it could be on Saturday's game. The real question is how sharp we can be with some of the injuries we have. We want to find out how our personnel is fitting together."
HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on whether or not TE-Marcus Pollard will play in Friday's game)
"Marcus felt a little better today and was able to partake in things. He is not 100 percent and we probably will not play him, but I was a little bit more encouraged after today's practice."
HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on his expectations for the defense)
"We have to get more consistent. Things happen positively for us, but we have to hit our gaps more consistently on our run defense. We have to some how get more interceptions."
RB-MIKE GREEN (on joining the Colts)
"It is a team with a very explosive offense and it is very different from the one I came from. That is why I am staying after practice to work with coach. I have seen some exciting things going on with this offense, and I am enjoying it."
RB-MIKE GREEN (on what he can do for the team)
"I can be a change of pace. Because they have a couple of injuries right now, I can be that guy that can take a little more punishment. This is a great opportunity for me."
TE-MARCUS POLLARD (on how he felt physically during practice)
"My groin felt pretty good today. Peyton stretched me out a couple of times, where I had to run and stretch out for the ball. I did not feel it pull to bad, so I think it looks pretty good."
TE-MARCUS POLLARD (on if it is important for him to play on Friday)
"It is important to me because I did not play at all last week. It is an opportunity to check my body and see how everything is working."
C-JEFF SATURDAY (on how training camp has went so far) " It's going really well so far. I think that we have played well, and our offense is staring to click a little bit, and we're looking to get some unity and continuity with positioning and guys getting in there and knowing what they're doing. I think that we have progressed really well.
C-JEFF SATURDAY (On Ryan Diem being moved to right tackle) "I think that was something that the team decided to do and it's their decision. I think that Adam will do a great job backing guys up and I hope Ryan will do a great job at right tackle, and that's the plan."
DE-DWIGHT FREENEY (on the defense in Saturday's game)
"We started off pretty well. The defense only gave up ten points plus a field goal, so we did pretty well."
LB-MARCUS WASHINGTON (on the defense)
"We want to start fast. That was a problem that we had last year. We want to set the tone for the game and carry that tone throughout the game."
S-MIKE DOSS (on his thoughts on training camp)
"It has been a lot of fun and it has been a pleasure working out here with professional coaches. I want to contribute, work hard and hopefully, be out there on the field."
S-MIKE DOSS (on being caught up after a delayed arrival at training camp)
"I was never behind from day one. I got the playbook when they got me and told me I was their draft pick. I feel like I am on the same page as everybody."
S-MIKE DOSS (on the amount of playing time he would like to get in Friday's game)
"I do not know how much I will be out there, but I know that once I am out there on the field I am going to work hard and do everything I can to help us win.
