"A quick turnaround day, but I think we're ready to go. We had good work (Tuesday), and we'll get our special situations (Wednesday), two minute, goal line, short yardage, all of those things and then head out and see if we can get a win."

"You're happy for the guys that went and disappointed for some of the guys who didn't. I think our team was the happiest for (DE) Robert Mathis. He's been very, very productive for a long time and finally had that breakthrough of getting recognized. I'm just really happy for him because he's done a great job for us."

"Alternates that I got word on, and I don't know where they were first, second or third, were (TE) Dallas Clark, (C) Jeff Saturday, (DB) Bob Sanders and (P) Hunter Smith were all alternates somewhere in the pecking order."

"They've gone through what practicing we've done. They both want to play. They're excited about going. My sense is they'll go, but we'll see what happens in the next 36 hours."
