"We're happy about it. I think we got ourselves a player. There aren't many guys out there that can help you this way, that know exactly what you're doing and are also good players. "Today's practice was good. A little bit typical coming off of the bye week, a little rusty, some things, balls on the ground, offsides, things that you don't want to see. But I think we'll get those ironed out in the next two practices and be ready. We're going to have to be. I've gone against the Redskins a lot. I know how they'll be when Coach (Joe) Gibbs has his back to the wall and in a game that they have to win. They will be ready to go and we will see their best effort. And we have to be ready for that."

"He's a 300-pound guy that has great quickness. He knows how we play and he's familiar with playing one gap. There will be no learning curve. He's played on some very good defenses and been a big part of it."

"That was the thing that made it enticing to us, and obviously we value our draft choices, that's how we build our team normally. It was a tough call I know for (Colts President) Bill (Polian) to give up a choice in the future. But as he and I talked about it, that was the thing that made it enticing. It wasn't, 'Hey, we're going to come in and teach this guy and we'll see how he does.' We know exactly how he's going to play in this
