"It's right up there because that's where, especially in this day and age of football, everything starts. Even if you're a running team, you have to throw the ball at times. You have to have your quarterback in position to set his feet and make good throws. So, yes, that's very, very important. That's something we put a lot of emphasis on, and then, defensively, trying to disrupt the other team's quarterback."
HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on how the first-team offensive line did in against San Diego and New York)
"We were pretty good. They didn't have many opportunities in game one. Game two, for the most part, was pretty solid except for the one play on the interception, but that's one play where it should have been seven points and it wasn't. That's the thing about protection–if it breaks down one or two times, it can be a bad game if those are at the wrong time."
HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on what he hopes to accomplish against Buffalo)
"We want to really come out and play sharp, really reduce our penalties from what we had last week. We want to move the ball a little more consistently, and defensively, really take away those big plays. If we do that, I think we're going to be in good shape."
HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on if the expectations for this game are higher than the other preseason games)
"Not really, because mine are pretty high every week. The only thing that's different is we will play our regulars more and try to let them get more of a taste of things. From that standpoint, the execution should be a little sharper and a little crisper, but I'm always looking for our guys to play well."
HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on what he likes about playing Buffalo)
"I think it's going to be great for us, because (Head Coach) Mike Mularkey has done a good job of really establishing a mentality. He's (from the Pittsburgh Steelers), and that's what he's tried to bring. They are very tough and physical on offense. They have a good swarming defense. They are going to really test our run defense out, and they will test our ability to kind of deal with things on offense. They bring a lot to the table, and they have some Pro-Bowl-caliber of players that play with a lot of emotion. So, we'll see how ready we are. If we're ready, I think we'll play well. If not, they can make you look bad."
