Hall of Fame Game Tickets to Go On Sale Monday, April 14

INDIANAPOLIS – Fans can still get tickets for the Colts' preseason opener.

But that may not be true for long.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame has announced that a "very limited number" of sideline and end zone tickets for the 2008 Pro Football Hall of Fame Game between the Colts and the Washington Redskins will be made available for sale to the public on Monday, April 14.

Beginning at 11 a.m. ET on April 14, tickets may be purchased online by visiting the Pro Football Hall of Fame's website at www.Profootballhof.com or by calling 800-913-9788.

The cost is $50 for sideline and $40 for end zone seats, with a limit of six tickets per household. According to the Hall of Fame, an immediate sellout of these remaining tickets is expected.

All tickets are non-refundable and will be mailed on June 25.

The Hall of Fame Game will be televised nationally on NBC's Sunday Night Football, and is scheduled to start at 8 p.m.

The Hall of Fame Game, played the day after the induction of the Hall of Fame's newest class of enshrinees, caps a multi-day festival in Canton. The Class of 2008 – defensive end Fred Dean, cornerback Darrell Green, wide receiver Art Monk, cornerback Emmitt Thomas, linebacker Andre Tippett, and tackle Gary Zimmerman – will be formally enshrined during a ceremony held the night before the game. A limited number of good seats for the Enshrinement Ceremony are still available and can also be purchased at Profootballhof.com or by calling 800-913-9788. Tickets are $27 each.

The Colts' last Hall of Fame Game appearance came in 1996, when they beat the New Orleans Saints, 10-3. The Colts beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1964 and lost to the Minnesota Vikings in 1982.
