The Houston Texans on Wednesday placed wide receiver Nico Collins on injured reserve with a hamstring injury. Collins will miss at least the next four games, including Houston's Week 8 matchup against the Colts.
In the six games Collins has played against the Colts in his career, he has 28 receptions on 36 targets for a total of 528 yards – the most he has against any team in his career – with an average of 88 yards per game. In the last three games Collins has played against the Colts, he has 22 catches for 458 yards and two touchdowns.
In Houston's win over the Colts in Week 18 of the 2023 season, Collins recorded a career-high 195 yards on nine receptions.
When the Texans beat the Colts 29-27 in Week 1 of the 2024 season, Collins had a team-high six catches for 117 yards, including a 55-yard reception.
Collins currently leads the Texans with 567 yards and an average of 17.7 yards per reception.
