INDIANAPOLIS —The Indianapolis Colts today signed wide receiver Krishawn Hogan to the practice squad and released wide receiver K.J. Brent from the practice squad.
Hogan, 6-3, 222 pounds, participated in the Colts' 2018 offseason program and training camp before being waived-injured by the team on September 1. After passing through waivers, he was placed on Indianapolis' Injured Reserve list. On September 8, the Colts reached an injury settlement with Hogan and he was removed from the team's Injured Reserve list. As a rookie in 2017, he spent time on the Colts' active roster and practice squad. Hogan played in two games and made one special teams tackle before being placed on the team's Injury Reserve list on October 9.
Brent, 6-3, 202 pounds, was signed to Indianapolis' practice squad on October 16. He participated in the Colts' 2018 offseason program and training camp before being waived-injured by the team on September 1. After passing through waivers, Brent was placed on Indianapolis' Injured Reserve list. On September 6, the Colts reached an injury settlement with Brent and he was removed from the team's Injured Reserve list. In 2017, he spent time on Indianapolis' active roster and practice squad. Brent played in five games with the Colts on offense and special teams. He also spent time on the Seattle Seahawks practice squad in 2017. As a rookie in 2016, Brent spent the entire season on the Oakland Raiders practice squad.
