Roster Moves: Colts Sign WR Cobi Hamilton

The Indianapolis Colts today signed free agent wide receiver Cobi Hamilton and waived running back Tion Green.

INDIANAPOLIS —The Indianapolis Colts today signed free agent wide receiver Cobi Hamilton and waived running back Tion Green.

Hamilton, 6-2, 201 pounds, has played in 14 career games (nine starts) and has compiled 18 receptions for 242 yards and two touchdowns. He has also returned five kickoffs for 83 yards (16.6 avg.). Hamilton has appeared in four postseason contests (one start) and has caught four passes for 51 yards and one touchdown. He has spent time with the Arizona Cardinals (2018), Houston Texans (2017-18), Pittsburgh Steelers (2016-17), Carolina Panthers (2016), Miami Dolphins (2015), Cincinnati Bengals (2013-15) and Philadelphia Eagles (2014). Hamilton was originally selected by the Bengals in the sixth round (197th overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft out of Arkansas.

Green, 6-0, 220 pounds, was signed by Indianapolis as a free agent on August 14, 2018. He played in five games with the Detroit Lions as a rookie in 2017 and totaled 42 carries for 165 yards and two touchdowns. Green also caught two passes for 14 yards.
