DT-MONTAE REAGOR (on playing the Saints)
"We want to go down there and put on a good show. We want to showcase to the rest of the league and let them know that we are going to be around for a long time."
DT-MONTAE REAGOR (on what makes a great defense)
"You measure a defense and how they play in three phases: in the running game, in the passing game and then when you get in the red zone. I think we've been doing a good job of not giving up many points in the red zone, and that's been the key to our success."
OT-TARIK GLENN (on starting in his 100th consecutive game on Sunday)
"That's a good thing, but at the same time it's not the motivation that I'm coming into the game thinking about. We've got a great chance of beating New Orleans. It's just a factor of us executing our game plans."
DE-CHAD BRATZKE (on QB-Aaron Brooks)
"Any quarterback that can move and throw gives you a lot of problems, especially when you're my age. He's a good quarterback and has a real strong arm."
QB-PEYTON MANNING (on going back home to New Orleans)
"It's always fun to go home. Everybody enjoys going home. I know Reggie's (Wayne) real excited as well. It's really different in the regular season. It's hard to think of anything else but Grady Jackson, Charles Grant and Tebucky Jones. We have to get focused on the Saints defense, but everybody loves playing in their home town."
QB-PEYTON MANNING (on playing the Saints)
"They are a good team. Jim Haslett is a great coach. He always has his team ready to play. They will be ready to play this Sunday, especially coming off of a tough loss to Tennessee. I think Tennessee was fired up after losing to us. I think we're catching New Orleans at a tough time right now. They've always been a better team at home. They have some of the best fans around. I've been there many a time, and it can be as rocking a place as there is. Sunday night, on prime time, it's going to be a tough place to play."
QB-PEYTON MANNING (on how many tickets he has set aside for friends and family)
"My dad's always had them. I think the Saints are nice enough to give him a couple tickets being that he's the greatest player they've ever had. All my buddies and friends all have season tickets. Actually, I have some tickets for my high school, for the maintenance department. This guy Herman has been in the maintenance department for a long, long time. He's been my biggest fan for a long time. I didn't know he had ten friends and family, but we're taking care of Herman and some other folks at my high school."
QB-PEYTON MANNING (on who his dad will be rooting for)
"My dad has been with the Saints since 1971. I think he's going to give them a break this Sunday and pick them back up next week."
QB-PEYTON MANNING (on the number of injuries to the Saints defense)
"Most teams, if they would lose five defensive starters would probably throw it in, but the Saints are one of the few teams, because they have been so active in free agency, have always had the depth to pick right back up where they left off. They lose Dale Carter, and they still have Ashley Ambrose and Fred Thomas- two guys that have been starters in this league for a long time. They're extremely tough against the run. They will give you some different looks. It's going to be a challenge."
QB-PEYTON MANNING (on WR-Reggie Wayne's big game)
"I think a game like Reggie had, it really should carry over. His confidence is there. He knows we're looking for him. He knows Tom (Moore) has no hesitation at all to call his number."
LB-ROB MORRIS (on RB-Deuce McAllister)
"He's good. He's a top notch running back. I think he's more of an Eddie George mold. He's kind of a run over you guy. They're going to give it to him and he'll get what he can get. We have to hit him hard, and the second guy has to get the ball loose."
