"Tell you what, we've been in some close ones this year. But to come out and pull this game out against a great football team, against a great quarter back. It was a herculean effort by our team. I mean really, I'm just thankful for the men that I coach. Thankful for those two backs we got that pounded it in there. Thankful for that coaching staff. Thankful for Nick Folk and I'm thankful that I finally got to beat Peyton Manning."

"Just as the game went on he got sharper and sharper. And the last pass to Braylon Edwards, the kid called that play on his own. We could have got them with a run, could have got them with a pass. I said I just want to move the football. And Braylon's like, "Look they're playing me at man. I know I can go over top of this guy." And Shotty (Brian Schottenheimer) just said, "Alright kid you throw the ball you want" and then he made that huge throw right there. That's how much he grew up."

"Not much, I don't think. I was proud of the effort of our team last week because we said it was going to take our whole team. And it took the top of the roster and the bottom of the roster to get that done. We felt good about it. We won that game the Jet way. Realistically this one, we've been getting ready to play the Colts really for two weeks. It paid off. Our coaching staff did a great job preparing our guys and our guys went out and executed the game plan. It's funny you know you're not going to stop them completely but make one mistake and then boom, he burns you for a touchdown. Our guys gave just incredible effort. I challenged our guys, especially at halftime to be able to come back in that locker room and be able to look each other in the eyes after that game and you'll know and your teammate will know that you gave everything you had. And that's what it showed today."

"It was a great effort, especially in the second half. I'm real proud of our guys, in a tough environment, for getting this win. You can't say enough about our guys on defense. They really fought and bailed us out on offense at times, and then the offense responded when we needed to. It's a great feeling coming back to Indy and getting a win against a great quarterback, a great team and a really dominant franchise."

"We just called one of our plays that has plenty of options for us. They gave us the right coverage for Braylon to make a play. I missed him on a couple of balls earlier in the game, and when we needed it the most we got it. Schotty (offensive coordinator) Brian Schottenheimer gave me the freedom to do that and it was a big-time conversion and set us up for the field goal."

"That's my fault for not even saying anything about it yet. The defense and the running game takes a lot of pressure off the quarterback. I didn't have my best night. That was obvious in the first half. It really picked us up."

"It's a 'got to have it' situation. We practice them all the time. There are a few plays for every quarterback in their playbook – for Peyton Manning I'm sure there are a million more – but for me there's a select few plays that I really feel good about. We knew we were in an area within field goal range with Folk but why not take a shot to get us in a real comfort zone where we know it is pretty much a given that he (Folk) is going to knock it in. "Kickers get paid to make the big kick. With Braylon making that big catch at the end that obviously helped him out a lot. Nick is a good kicker. You are going to miss some kicks but in that situation they got it down close enough for him. Hopefully next week we can win by 14 or something so he won't have to make the game-winning kick. If need be, I'm pretty sure he can do it again so it was good to see him do that."
