Being Cheerleader of the week only means one thing, FOOTBALL is back! I hope everyone is ready for a great year! We have been working very hard at practice this summer and are ready to cheer on our boys through an unforgettable season! I am so excited to share with you a little bit about myself!
I was born and raised in Bloomington, IN and earned my degree from Indiana University Bloomington. I started dancing at age three and have two sisters who share the same passion for dancing and cheering. This year marks my sixth season as a Sweetheart of the Horseshoe. I thank God every day for blessing me with this opportunity. I have had so many life changing experiences with the Colts and have made memories that will last a life time. I can honestly say that I LOVE every bit of being an Indianapolis Colts Cheerleader.
I wouldn't be where I am today without the support and love from my family and friends. Mom and Dad, thank you for everything! To my wonderful Colts Cheer sisters, thank you all for being my rock, for all of your hard work, support, and memories. I will cherish my time with you guys forever! Lastly, thank you, God, for loving me and for all of my blessings!
Thank you for reading Colts fans, GO HORSE!**
You were able to travel to Mexico City for an NFL Mexico appearance! What was your favorite part of this trip?**
Mexico City was an absolute blast! There were so many amazing things that happened on this trip, but the thing that stood out to me the most was meeting Colts fans everywhere we went. It seemed like no matter where we went, we met at least one Colts fan. Every single one of them were so nice and approachable and spoke about our team with such passion! It's always so cool to hear what other people around the world think about our team!
What inspired you to start dancing?
When I was little, my older sister was involved in competitive dancing. She used to dance around the house all the time showing us all of her new dance moves. Since I had to do everything that she did and thought all of her dances were so cool, I HAD to sign up for dance class and the rest was history!
Your favorite song on the radio right now is…
Cheerleader by OMI! ; )Where was your favorite place that you traveled to as a Colts Cheerleader?
Puerto Rico! Last season myself and nine other girls traveled there on a Military Tour. Meeting the troops and their families over there was unforgettable and a memory I hold very close to my heart!
What are you doing in your free time when you aren't cheering?
In my free time I enjoy hanging out with friends, going to the movies, going hiking and biking, and working out. I love to stay busy and active!
